This on/off solenoid valve is very compact and can be used in pressure ranges up to 1000 bar. For example, it can be used to open/close the hydrogen inlet at the output of the tank on a H2 vehicle. The components are produced with specific forming tool elements, delivering series-like flow field geometries. Plate openings and outer contours are laser cut, single parts are welded and sub-assembly is leak tested.

HyCo

 

The HyCo is an advanced hydrogen compressor that stands out for its use of metallic hydride materials and a four-step thermal compression technology. This process includes hydrogen absorption at low pressure, heating the system to increase pressure, hydrogen desorption at high pressure, and cooling to complete the cycle. By integrating both storage and compression into a single unit, the HyCo eliminates the need for separate systems, optimizing space and installation costs. With no moving parts, the HyCo reduces maintenance needs and failure risks while ensuring almost silent operation, making it suitable for sensitive environments. The ability to operate with residual heat (e.g., from other industrial processes) makes it an energy-efficient solution, more cost-effective than traditional mechanical compressors. HyCo HRS

 

The HyCo HRS is a hydrogen refueling station designed to meet the growing needs of hydrogen mobility. Compact and integrated into a 20-foot ISO container, it combines thermal compression and high-temperature storage to provide rapid and secure refueling. The station consists of four main components: a hydrogen storage system based on metallic hydrides, which also serves as a compression system; thermal storage to deliver a continuous flow of hydrogen; a cooling machine to maintain optimal temperatures; and a hydrogen dispenser for vehicle refueling. This configuration allows a direct connection with an electrolyzer, thus simplifying the infrastructure by eliminating the need to transport hydrogen. Thanks to the absence of moving parts, the HyCo HRS requires minimal maintenance, and its design without an ATEX zone makes it easy to install in urban or industrial areas where safety and compactness are essential.
